I love creating photographic art!

My effort is focused (no pun intended) on trains. Railroad photography developed by accident into an extremely rewarding experience for me. But when there aren't any trains around I also photograph wildlife, landscapes, architecture, and even an occasional person.

I am a past member of the Board of Directors of Rocklin Fine Arts, a 501c3 organization (www.RocklinFineArts.org). Membership in a fine arts organization motivates one to compete, and as a result of competition several of my images earned recognition in both juried and non-juried art shows.

Clients include:
The City of Rocklin
The Blood Source of Roseville
Dr. Beatriz Galofre, DDS of Roseville
... and many individual art enthusiasts.

On several occasions local artists asked and were granted permission to use my photographs as a basis for their own oil and acrylic works.

Galleries and Exhibitions:
Permanent displays of my images are located in the entry to the City of Rocklin's Administration Building (both left and right walls), in the lobby of the City of Rocklin Corporate Building, and a collection of old/new composites used to wrap the trash receptacle containers at the City of Rocklin Quarry Park. Thecomposites show the contrast between photographs taken 50 to 100 plus years ago of Rocklin historic sites, with contemporary photographs of the same site today.

If you donate blood at The Blood Source on Fairway Drive in Roseville, you will see three of my photographs on the interior walls as you wait.

My work can usually be seen at GalleryIQ, Rocklin, and occasionally at other venues such as JD's Deli, Rocklin, Rocklin Florist, Placer County Libraries in Rocklin and Granite Bay, and in the Roseville City Libraries.
